Solidified: Multiplayer

 I know i have been quite lazy for the last 3 days or so. But today i decided to majorly update the game... Multiplayer! yes it works =D, took me 1.5 hours but it was worth it! it's a bit laggy, so not yet for public consumption =) I will try to improve the performance for public consumption, so multiplayer playtest is in probably this week. (No promises =P)

Solidified: Ping, Pong!

I started working on multiplayer, First Success was a simple Client-Server Communication Test, where client would say to the server "Ping" and the server replies back "Pong" Next was getting working actual multiplayer gameplay. It took me a day to fix all the bugs. It's really hard =( As of now, i'm working on player models, usernames, and OP/Admin systems. Probably like day-after-tomorrow will be the first multiplayer playtest =)

Welcome back! and also, Happy new years =D For new years update, i decided on adding a caveman further trying to get the first disaster (Cavemen raid) to work. As you see above, These are the little cavemen running around aimlessly, Sometimes jumping off the map aswell. While developing this, i encountered a bug, where if cavemen were spawned, the terrain textures would go pitch black. It was fixed after 4 hours of constant pain :P Next...

Solidified: My game!

 Solidified is a game i've been developing, for the past week. Along with recommendations from people on IRC, Discord, and Real Life. It is a simple game, The player is a boy named "The Student".   He is newly admitted to the school, and he went for an exam. Surprise, he is the only one taking the test!   Turns out, the exam itself is actually to survive a bunch of disasters one by one.  It is voxel-based. One of the disasters i have planned is a Cavemen Raid.   You can break stuff to obtain them, and also place them. You can craft using obtained stuff. for example, crafting a wall from 4 desks.   You can build defenses from other classmates or people, depending on your "Popularity Score".    In Nightmare Mode, there is a "Deceiving Score" allowing you to lure your classmates into giving their bones for a ritual, which has a random chance of making the disaster less or more dangerous.    Thanks for reading my blogposts, goodbye! =D
